Rosemary - (Rosmarinus Officinalis) 

Rosmarinus (meaning ''dew of the sea'') is a genus of 3 species ofhardy evergreen flowering shrub. Rosemary is one of the best knownand most used of aromatic herbs. Rosemary has been used medicinallyfor centuries. 

The essential oil: The floweringtops are distilled to produce the best oil. The oil is basicallycolourless, slightly pale yellow - green. The smell of the oil iscamphory. The principal constituents are borneol (upto 15%),camphene, camphors, cineol lineol and a bitter principle,saponin. 

Properties: Mucolytic,anticatarrhal, expectorant

Directions: Pulmonary infection,bronchitis, ear infections, sinusitis

ExternalUse:Massage: Pulmonary disease: 5 to 6drops 3 times a day on the chest and upper back 
Inhalations 
Add 2 drops to a dose of shampoo or day cream for revitalizing thehair and skin. 
Antiseptic Inhalation: 5 drops Rosemary EO 5 dropsEucalyptus EO 10 drop Lavender EO. Can also be diffused. 

Synergies: Bronchitis:Eucalyptus.
